Editorial policy
This policy explains who creates BTCHEIR content, how sources are selected, how AI may assist the work, and how errors are corrected.

Every page should help a Bitcoin holder or heir make a safer next decision. BTCHEIR does not publish price predictions, trading advice, manufactured urgency, or high-volume articles created only to capture search traffic.
Source hierarchy
Protocol claims should begin with Bitcoin specifications and Bitcoin Core documentation. Product behavior should use the provider’s current documentation. Legal examples should use government, court, or recognized professional sources and must identify their jurisdiction.
Author and review labels
BTCHEIR Editor researches, writes, and maintains the current material. Pages disclose that the editor is a holder without professional legal or security credentials. Independent reviewers will be named only after a real review and with their permission.
Use of AI
AI tools may assist with research organization, translation, drafting, code, and consistency checks. The BTCHEIR Editor chooses the claims, reviews the final text, and remains responsible for what is published. AI output is never treated as an authority or cited as evidence.
Security boundary
No article or template should ask readers to enter a seed phrase, private key, PIN, passphrase, xpub, descriptor, address, balance, or backup file. Sensitive operational work stays offline and outside BTCHEIR.
Corrections and updates
Material changes receive a new updated date. Factual corrections should be made promptly and, when the original statement could have affected safety or legal decisions, summarized in a correction note. Source links are reviewed periodically.
Conflicts and endorsements
Named companies and products are examples, not endorsements. Sponsorships, referral relationships, paid placements, or material conflicts will be disclosed next to the affected content if they are introduced later.
